Dragon Leader maintains his perfect record

The Clive Cox-trained Dragon Leader made it the perfect two from two when winning back at Salisbury yesterday under John Fahy.

He raced more prominently here and although the early pace was slow he picked up well and got in a duel with the eventual second. He was briefly headed as was running a bit green, but he battled back to get the job done on the line, pulling well clear of the field. Shouldering a 4 pound penalty is not easy in two-year-old sprints but this son of El Kabeir showed he not only has natural talent but a will to win – just what you want to see in a racehorse.

His future looks bright indeed.
