Mollie Foster was purchased at the Goffs Orby Sale and is trained by Ed Walker, who was particularly keen on her at the sale, especially given his success with another top-class Acclamation sprinter, Group 1 performer Makarova.

Acclamation is a proven sire of top sprinters, producing stars such as Marsha, Equiano, Aclaim, and Mehmas. Mollie Foster’s dam, Dutch Dream, has already produced a winner from her only runner to date—Dance Acclaim, a full-brother to our filly. Dutch Dream is by leading broodmare sire Dutch Art, whose daughters have produced elite performers, including last year’s 2,000 Guineas winner, Chaldean. Coming from a strong German family, her pedigree suggests early speed with the potential to stay further in time.

Mollie Foster gave her owners a fantastic thrill in her debut season last year, winning impressively on her second start at Haydock before stepping up to Listed company in Deauville. She then capped off a superb first year by finishing second in the Goffs 500 Sales Race at the Curragh, securing just shy of €100,000 in prize money.

She has spent the winter charming everyone at Merton Place Stud and Harry Whittington’s, and we’re excited to see what her three-year-old campaign holds.  While she may not have the physical scope of some, she has the heart of a lion, and we hope for more memorable days ahead!
