MOLLIE FOSTER (IRE)

ED WALKER

2022 Bay filly by Acclamation ex Dutch Dream (Dutch Art)

KVS XV

We bought Mollie Foster for €62,000 at the Goffs Orby Sale, which makes her eligible for the Goffs Millions Sales Races at the Curragh next September. She is trained by Ed Walker who loved her at the sale too.

Acclamation is a wonderful stallion, siring the likes of Marsha, Equiano, Aclaim and Mehmas to name but a handful. He is also the sire of Ed Walker’s Group 1 sprinting filly Makarova which was a further reason to buy this filly for him.

The dam, Dutch Dream, has already produced a winner from her only runner to date, courtesy of Dance Acclaim who is a full-brother to our filly. Dutch Dream is a daughter of a leading broodmare sire in Dutch Art and it was one of his daughters that produced this years’ 2,000 Guineas winner Chaldean. Dutch Dream hails from a strong German family who are often precocious before going on to be milers in time.

Mollie Foster

Group 1 winning trainer Ed Walker is based at the stunning Kingsdown Stables in Upper Lambourn and is one of the most exciting young trainers in the business. Snuggle was our second horse with Ed and with his consistently strong results over the past few seasons (winning over £1m in prize money in 2022) we are very pleased that he will be training Mollie Foster.
